Are there any updates on the 3030
I see they did it on the equinox
Can they do anything for the 3030 to make it more sensitive to gold

I'm afraid the only updates CTX owners will get will be in our dreams!

Kind of funny, I received an email from Minelab telling me I can download the update for my NOX. I dont't have oneI That is the email I have been hoping for since 2013 in regards to my CTX 3030.

Although the CTX CAN find SOME gold,it was designed to be an all around/across the board/average/jack of all trades machine. The second you start making something super sensitive to small stuff,well...now you’ve made it sensitive to small stuff! Every iota of everything you DONT want will now come into view, and if used as a coin hunting machine, that’s not what you want. If they could satisfy the urge to hunt tiny gold items by being able to ADD a single higher frequency, maybe that would be useful. I’m not sure if FBS and it’s inherent harmonics can be broken down that way. It would be interesting to see though. Keep in mind...if they modify the CTX to find smaller gold better, their gold hunting machines stay on the shelf....at least the ones a CTX user might have bought.

Minelab has had one update to the 3030. It was several years ago. "Seawater" option and the option to hit the pinpoint button and it stay in pinpoint mode until you hit the button again were the major things that I remember from that update.
