Soccer fields,MXT PRO,Bigfoot and BBQ'd Buffalo.....

I headed back to the big city to hit the soccer fields with the MXT PRO with the Bigfoot coil.I stopped at friends house/ranch.He raises Buffalo.He handed me a BBQ'd Buffalo sandwich on my way out the door after we visited.Buffalo definitely powers you up for a good hunt! I dug everything above iron.I set the gain on 9,discrimination at 2,ground balanced.I found $3.63 in clad,a kids medallion and 3 tokens to Aladdin's Castle"The Ultimate Party Place".There was a ton of can slaw.It was in small ring/coin sized pieces.It was chewed up and wrapped up in small wads or balls.I never got 1/3 of the first soccer field hunted.There are 13 more fields to hunt. I have never seen can slaw like this,all wadded up.The VDI's weren't jumpy on the can slaw it came in at 3 inches deep.All the coins were 2 to 3 inches deep.The breeze finally died off and the mosquito's came out in droves.The Bigfoot is a dream to hunt with.It pinpoints surgically when you get to know it.I did try the D2 10" coil on the MXT PRO for about 20 minutes before I quit.It is a great coil.It pinpoints spot on and is plenty deep.I got a deeper VDI 88 signal.Pinpointed and dug the target.At about 8 inches I get a 2 inch across,3/4 in thick "What's IT".It is very corroded.I think it maybe an Alien spaceship part.Either a Flux Capacitor or part of a Heliomezzon Graphing device,I'm not sure which.I had 9 quarters,10 dimes 4 nickels,18 pennies and 3 tokens.My clad/coin count could have been alot higher if I would have concentrated on just coin signals.I was looking for gold jewelry.The hunt for gold jewelry is becoming an obsession.Take care.Bill

Sounds like you had a very good hunt with plenty of targets to work with . I purchased a D2 awhile back but haven't really hunted where I can give it a good test yet . I am sort of spoiled on the SEF 8x6 . we hunted a old ball field yesterday but the trash was so bad we had to go to our 4x6 eclipise coils to get thru it we had about 30 coins when we got done . Thanks for the details of your settings and info on the coils . Its nice to know how a guy is set up gives ya a idea what you might change on your own machine . Good Job
