New member
Spent two hours at one end of a local soccer field. Will be returning to search the rest. Some clad and some pins, but the rings are what makes it worth it, two 9.25 Silver, one10k Gold with diamond. All in all a very rewarding morning.:bouncy:

Great finds. Those soccer fields are full of lost treasures. And it's so exciting to see that gold and silver come out of the ground. You found a lot of miscellaneous stuff too. Cool!!! Thanks for sharing. Not bad for a two hour hunt! HH to all, Nancy
 
Just out of curiosity about how deep were your finds ...on average??

Had my gain set between 6 & 7 and was getting hits as deep as 7" with a 6 x 10 DD. Most hits about 3 to 4". The gold ring hit at around 4" at VDI +4 Foil......Ring, but was strong and a little different tone then foil normally is.( deeper)
 
Nice rings. I want to hunt some soccer fields but most of the ones near me are not in good areas. Guess I need to find a few hunting buddies before I hit them.
