A tip from a friend of mine found me standing on an old soccer field this morning. As soon as I fired up the E-Trac and noise cancelled
I put the coil on the ground and got a 12-45 signal at 5 inches !! My first find today was the 44 Merc. Gotta love that!
Most of the coins dug today were in the 7-8 inch range and as you can tell by the condition of the coins pictured, the soil was harsh, probably
due to the fertilizers they used to keep the field healthy with all the foot traffic. The large cent appears to be a 1839 ?? and the V nickel is a 1910.
I also found 10 wheaties and the usual clad coins. Happy Hunting !!
