SoCal wildfires

Living in Southern California isn't always about sunshine, palm trees and nice weather! ah...did I forget the pretty girls LOL!! We deal with the occasional earthquake and today, wildfires! Here are 2 pic's from today's fires which I live in the foothills and about 3 miles from. About 1100 homes have evacuation orders and some of my friends have had to move out of their homes.
Everything is covered in wood ash, the cars are covered and my swimming pool is a mess! also the air quality isn't good which is hard if you have asmatic problems.
The strong Santa Anna winds and the tinder dry vegetation in the mountains and foothills are contributing to these fires and we hope and pray that the firefighters have success in knocking the fires down and out soon!

On the flip side, I LOVE the hot weather because it means more people are going on the beach and in the ocean and loosing rings and jewellry!:clapping: So I hope the fires are extinguished very soon and I will be on the beach real soon and hoping for some great finds there! H.H. all.

In South Carolina we still do controlled burns to get rid of the fuel so that fires are much easier to suppress. The Environmental Extremists do not want controlled burns as it "Causes Air Pollution" but the wild fires produce as much or more Air Pollution.

My Sister lives in Oceanside. Where were the pictures taken?
