So You Think The Place Is Hunted Out? Well Try This To Still Squeeze Out Some More Goodies :surprised:

Hunting trashy areas sure beats not hunting at all and complaining about no more old silver targets lying around.:argue:

How many people like the Garrett 2500 metal detector and why and comparing it to the Garrett 1500?
I'm thinking about buying a Garrett 2500 in the future if the cost difference justifies buying it over the
Garrett 1500.

I use the 2500 mostly for relic hunts or fields with known old coins. It gets more depth then the 1500 because it has a true all metal mode, which gets fantastic depth. The 1500 is a fantastic coin and jewellery hunter. Both the GTP 1350, GTI 1500 & GTI 2500 are unique in that that they can size a target for you, allowing you to leave a lot of junk in the ground for others to didcover. :)

John-Edmonton,
Thanks for the information. One last question about the Garrett GTI 2500. Can you really eliminate pull-tabs,
bullet shells, etc. and find the coins that are mixed in with this junk using this graphic panel display?

No detector will eliminate just pulltabs. If you notch them out, you lose them plus nickels and many gold rings. Now if you are hunting for old coins in a junky location, notching out pulltabs is sometimes a good idea.
