So, Who's Going To Become A "Outlaw"????

Got mine on order, let's have a count on who's gonna spend under $600 for a machine, not $2500 on a super-duper, do it all!!!!

Well being a distant relative to John Wesley Hardin the famous outlaw, I might get my wanted poster and become a outlaw in the near future! Lol!

Guys you know at that price with the extra coils and not all the bells and whistles that tend to get everyones attention, it's very tempting!! I love how you see these detectors that have come out that is all hype and these little old beep and dig detectors smoke their tails!! And at a fraction of the cost!! Then you have the critics that put down on these plain Jane Outlaws that are probably on waiting list to get one! Tesoro keep up the good work and by the way I do plan on buying one if not two for what it would cost for one of the do it all best thang since sliced bread detectors that end up in the classifieds a week after purchase. Happy Hunting To All!! Thanks Tesoro for another great detector!!

I'm waiting to hear from Tesoro if it is replacing something, where it fits into their current line up and why would I want one over something else. Will it go deeper than the Vaquero or even the mighty Tejon? If not I will likely go for the Vaquero with it's hot technology. I'm just waiting to see where it out performs or is better suited for me out of what they already have. The only attraction so far besides the new factor and cool looks is the coils that you get. I hope they have a winner that outperforms what they already have so I can be an outlaw too!:wiggle:

Im excited about both machines but im waiting a bit for the 2500 dollar machine to make sure the bugs are worked out.

I think having the frequency in the 10 kHz range is good, and the retune button could be a feature (and a challenge for me) that makes it different to what I already have. The coils themselves make it slightly different from what I already have, and if they are interchangeable with some of my other Tesoros, all the better.

Ok, read some more information including the Hollandsbrook/Tesoro interview and taking into consideration the field test. I am just curious how deep it will hit coins in dry ground now. I may just have to become an Outlaw!

If the Outlaw is hotter than my Vaquero I might have to consider getting one. Waiting to read some more field tests first.............HH

So be ready for my honest opinion on all aspects of it. If it out performs all of the previous Bandito line, I'll be happy.............MO

I was going to buy a used Eldorado but the Outlaw seems to be coming out just in time. It looks to have all the features of the Eldorado and then some. I let go of my Eldorado when the Vaquero came out and have regretted it ever since. Nothing against the Vaquero, but I like to hunt farm fields in all metal and then check the signal in disc. Easy to do on the Outlaw with the toggle switch; impossible to do with the Vaquero, unless you want to hold the pinpoint button in, which is difficult.

Well I was waiting for something {really new} It's not. I feel the updated Golden has the most to offer me, I'm a tone guy!! Buts its kinda like 3 machines in one, So that is what I have coming YA!!! Jay

That's the beauty about Tesoro, they don't waive a carrot in front of us for a month or two saying they are coming out with a new model then put it on the market and having the consumers tell them about the bugs and then have to send it back to be fixed. Tesoro keeps things secret, they put it through the paces making sure everything works the way it should and that there are no bugs before putting it on the market.

Don't care what they call it or a re badged one, just give us some more depth in HOT ground to keep up with the rest and I'll buy one. shortribs

I would love to have one! 10k seems to be just right for coins. I am a coin shooter. I may just become an Outlaw, Beale.

This guy won the Raffle at the Reno Gold Show. he is the First person in the US to have the outlaw.
