So what is the best way to make the AT Pro compatible with better land head phones??

supplied with the detector, so I cut the plug off the Garrett phones. Left about a 6"or 8" tail and put it on a Radio Shack quarter inch female jack.
The speaker sounds when my Killer Bs are not plugged in. Works great for me.

I saw they sold several adapters on Ebay for almost $50.00:yikes: If a person could find a wholesale source for the components they could make some real cash at that rate.

I will also be cutting my cord off and using the Radio Shack female jack. I'm not about to pay $35- $50 for a adapter that should cost around $10-$15.
OMM

Now Kenny's Gizmo is a different story for me, I could not make a Gizmo as nice as his is for what it costs to buy from him.
