So , What is next for Garrett?

Well the fall is coming and the new machines should be arriving soon. So do you think Garrett will ever bring back the Grand master hunter as a top of the line unit. I would like to see a more streamline , lighter, version. With that great all metal mode. What do you all think?.

As always

Don't know what they have up their sleeve. They are extremely tight lipped about anything new. I never know until they call and tell me one is on its way.

They have had such a tremendous success with the 250 I would think they would follow that line with a much improved version of that detector.

Yeah they are building a 45,000 square foot addition to their plant and hiring another 120 people. Think the 250 paid for that. I would think a sizzled up version of the 250 would be next and maybe a water hunting version.

The wish list...
- A lower end salt water machine in the 250 price range
- Volume control on the 250
- A depth indicator on the 1500 in the normal operating (non-pinpointing)mode like the 250 has
- An adjustable arm pad (on a rail so it could be moved closer to your elbow - my arm has been killing me - tennis elbow like symptoms).
- Multi-freq "ground radar", ie lower freqs to go deeper - is that a Minelab patent?
