So what about these other Garrett machines...

You know I am so impressed with that little yellow garrett I can't help but wonder about the green machines. Like the gti 2500. and gpt1350. now is the 2500 just as good as an Explorer at finding deep silver? Is it a deep seeker? Also What about the low end garrettes that were around before the Ace 150 and 250.The ace 300?. Is that a better detector then the Ace 250 for deeper coins?

:) My Son had an Ace 300 before we got the new Ace 250. The Ace 250 blows the old Ace 300 away hands down.I personally use Fisher machines and do not know much about other Garrett detectors other than the two mentioned above.

Take Care

The 2500 is one of the best machines out there bar none. The Ace 300 is not nearly the machine the 250 is. All the rest of the Garrett machines are top notch.

Hi Dang,
I had a Garrett 1500 and I took a silver dime at the beach at the 8 1/2 inch mark.I was blown away by that. I got a belltone but the sizing was off on pinpointing. (D) SIZE. So I walked away. And went back and hit it from the other direction and got a (B) size lock on. So I dug it up.As far as the 2500 goes I'll say it goes deep. I had a gti 2000 and got coins I had missed with my older Garretts. Easy 7 inches on a dime. I don't use the all matal that much but I hear it's one of the deepest out there.
Happy Hunting !

The Garrett GTI 1500 and the Garrett GTP are both excellent coin machines. They both get equal depth and love silver coins. Because I like to hunt for silver coins, I end up looking for coins quite often on manicured grass. The GtI 1500 and GTP 1350 both give me a good probability of target ID, depth and size and superb pinponting.....all very important bits of information to have when digging a small plug is so important.! I don't own a GTI 2500, but it is the above, plus much much more. :)
