So tell me about "Pitch Hold" :please:

I have recently been reading some comments about using Pitch Hold with great success. While I am still learning the Etrac, I feel mostly comfortable with it and have made some awesome finds. I am wondering if this Pitch Hold would lead me to even greater success with the Etrac. Would love to hear the whens, wheres and hows from those who use it regularly.

Looking forward to your comments! Thanks!

Look at the post I just now put up Jeff63 Hunting in trash areas with the Etrac . You might find it very interesting . He even gives you his settings . I'm going to try it when the snow melts for sure.I've never used pitch hold before

I prefer it. I can't stand the monotone threshold pitch. It drives me nuts after awhile. Pitch hold just changes the threshold tone to that of the last target you went over. I have noticed a few times that when I'm swinging faster than I should, the threshold tone will change without sounding off on a target. I go back over where it changed and there's usually something there. Mostly junk, but not always.
