I mostly do dirt hunting
But I am very inspired by ChicagoRon and so many of you others that find amazing finds and jewelry
We have a water detector and we have been scuba divers for over 20 years
My husband has detected and located cannon balls and such from a sunken 1812 Fort
I'll make sure to photo these finds soon and post them because they are really exciting finds and
well worth sharing and viewing
Next summer I will give it a try as a result of all the inspiration from this forum and from his efforts and example

I am sharing a photo of our ring finds (all dirt located)
They include Costume, Silver and three 14K Gold Rings I found in a old Park over a 5 week period this year.

Thank You for viewing

Wow, you must have had a ball finding that lot....I too am a mainly dirt digger, but I love detecting at the beach when I can find my way to one...This forum gives great inspiration. HH

Fantastic display of treasures! Especially as dirt finds. I just bought 2 - 72 ring cases and 1 - 8 ring cases for 2012. (I hope to fill them up, lol) Looking for an even better year of water hunting. Like to see those cannon balls. Congrats. Marty

Thanks for sharing. I have always been a beach hunter until last year. I bought a used Golden U-max from Craigslist. Well, on the 3rd hunt I found a gold ring in a park. I always thought that the gold was only at the beach. Boy was I wrong! I'm hooked on digging dirt now. Total 2 gold rings and 1 silver dated 1860
