So I send my Propointer back to Garrett, and what comes back !

A shiny brandy new one. How do U beat that ? Sent it in for usual problems. Wouldn't turn on, or shut off, etc.
I'm going to try to tape over the speaker , dab some clear coat over the light. Great tool , but got to watch out for moisture. I bought a water-proof one, while it was gone , but I don't think it's quite as sensitive as the Garrett. Can't beat Garretts backing their product..

I have one of those water proof ones too. I just don't like it. It sets off my detector, making terrible noises while it's on.

I have an AT Pro and still trying to figger out the "tone roll". What I hear is some static, a tone and then static which I take must be something not worth digging. Am I on the right track?
