So I gave Ferrous a try..

After MikeO saying how he uses it all the time I figured I would give it a go. I used TTF on my Etrac but never used Ferrous on the SE Pro. I must say it was different from TTF and surely different from Conductive.

Anyway I had about 45 min. before dark so I put the 6" EQ2 on and walked outside in my Extremely pounded front yard. I decided to not dig anything unless it was at least 3/4 of the way down the depth meter and I have next to nothing for grass so it was gonna be deep.

I got a popping, cracking, terrible signal due to all the iron nails I have but it tried to climb the right side and did manage a top hit at just the right angle. I had IM set to -22

Well here is the result,

Dunno if I will use it again but I figured I would try it out and I was pleased with the result.

Thanks for looking,
