So far what I've been reading on the ACE 350...

Seems like it isn't much of a improvement over the 250. I sure hope the AT is a far step forward. More then just a Ace with ground balance and a nifty way to adjust tones. Time will tell. We'll see if they just threw a couple detectors together just to silence those of us who were wanting more from them. I'll take a step back and wait for a few months before getting the AT just to see some reports on it.After all there were people when the Ace came out wishing it had ground balance and some who made theirs water proof so why wouldn't Garrett see this and say hey we can still make a buck off the Ace if we change the frequency , water proof it and give a ground balance and some nifty tones. May be I just want to much out of a new detector...lol But when you see what the competition has to offer it makes it hard sometimes to be loyal to a brand who has had good detectors in the past. But I will have faith and hope the AT blows us all away.

The AT will make you happy bud. The 350 is just a slightly souped up and tweaked 250 while the AT is brand new from the ground up.
