It was +2C this morning on the way to work. I had already decided that a hunt was probably due because of the mild temperatures. That meant no hot pacs in either machines. I use the master Hunter to hunt the large areas in a sand based playground and the ACE with the Sniper to get close to the playground equipment. Using both machines pretty well covered my bases for the type of area I was hunting. I only hunted about 1 1/2 hours, as after 16:00 it is pretty well dark and the winds had picked up considerably. I had fun! :) That's what this hobby is all about anyways......

Here's my loot including the junk that I dug. I wasn't using any discrimination on either machine, and was in fact using the true all metal mode on the Master Hunter.

Another day....another dollar!

It's so different then the other machines. It has no elbow cuff, so you just float is on 2-4 fingers and make large arcs swinging the coil. You end up swinging it a little slower, but then you get a good reading with each target. The true all metal mode is very similar to the GTI 2500 true all metal mode. It gives a probable target in true all metal mode too.

I have thought about getting the cuff for it, however, just floating it on some fingers is kinda neat too. You just kind of rotate your wrist and make arks with the coil instead of swinging your whole arm. I will get a better idea about this machines operation when the snow disappears. But....it seems to be doing well in the snow too. That true all metal mode is real sensitive.
