HUNTTHREE2.jpg

Did a quick 1 1/2 hour hunt after work today. I hit some play areas that haven't seen any footprints through the snow yet. The snow is so dry that it's like powder. The sniper coil cut through the snow like a knife through butter. I was amazed at how well it picked up those two rusted ball bearings. it got another bunch of loot again tonite.

Aside from the loot, I also got this token....another nice find for my token collection. :)

John: What is the coldest temperature you have been detecting at with the Ace 250 and did it affect the operation of the detector? I have looked through the Garrett Ace 250 owner's manual and have not found any operating temperature's.

The coldest was -30C/-22F. That was with the ACE 250 last year. The machine works great after I cover it with a sock and insert a hot pack in with the batteries. Here is the pick I took last year of it.
