snowflakes

Saw some snowflakes yesterday, and the mountains have some white stuff in them this morning. So here is the better stuff I found
this summer. Not as impressive as some of you but kinda neat for
me.

Lincolns 1919d, 1922d, and 1926
a couple oddities in the middle, a lincoln with kennedys face
stamped in front of him, and a lincoln with the name Loretta
Chapman engrave in it.
a couple IH's 1887, and 1890
a kennedy half 1964
a 1943p nickle
and a 1902 V nickle

Nice Hall, I always just shoot the parks. I need to get out of the parks and play grounds.

I have some friends that are at it all the time. This is becoming a big hobby. Those rare finds are just becoming harder to find then ever before.

Only way to get better take is to do better research.

I'm looking summer and winter in NW Florida and still have not found a half-dollar. Clad half -yeah I'd take one. Nice work MonDak.

Yeah I've never found many half dollars but in 1978 I found 6 (1938-1946) stacked in one hole. They were about 5" deep under a bus stop bench on a college campus. I guess I'll always wonder how they got there. If it hadn't been a concrete bench, I would have never looked under there.

Whoa now! What's all this talk about snowflakes? We don't allow snowflakes here in Florida. But them cool coins are a welcome sight for sore eyes. Where I'm at we hunt mostly the saltwater beaches for coins & jewelry but with all the hurricanes over the last couple of years the beaches have been rebuilt so they are somewhat sterile until enough tourists come down and replentish our supply!
