Snow Snow Snow:rage: More On The Way...Hunted Some Snow Hills Today While The Jerky-Cola Was Drying.

I left around noon today and headed out of Edmonton for some different busy snow hills. It was a perfect day......about one degree above freezing with a mild south wind and a perfectly clear blue sky. I managed a nice take on coins, which maybe paid for my gas. More snow on the way starting tomorrow evening. There is already a snowfall watch in effect.

I also tried my first attempt at a jerky marinate using a 20 ounce bottle of regular coca-cola, which I boiled down to a nice thick concentrate on the stove. Below is the recipe in case you might want to try some.

Hey, that's a nice haul! Good to see you got out! Sitting around the house too much aint good for a man, even though you keep busy with ringmaking or jerky.
It would be good if some of the ice would just go out away from the shorelines a little, even if the ground don't thaw for a while yet..:clapping:

Glad you got out and did some dirt fishing, John. That's a nice amount of clad and I wish we had 1 & 2 dollar coins in the states. That jerky looks Delicious.

Hey Ranger, if he's going to show us all this jerky, some care packages are in order. Just kidding, John. I'm rendering some lard in my crock pot today since it's to cold to do anything else.
