Have not been able to get out.Close to a foot of snow at my house ,and snow right down to the water at the beach.

Christmas card perfect.
Looks just as good as up here:rolleyes:

Had more snow today. The local elk herd hit all the trees and shrubs in the yard last night, snow must be to deep up in the hills. No power or phone service last night and half of today stars are out tonight so maybe its over:clapping:.It's only pretty for so long.I do a lot of driving and it gets old real fast.:surrender:Hope every body has a great Christmas even with the weather.

Keep your fingers crossed that we don't have a "pineapple express" front moving in Jog.
That creek on your property will be all class 5 rapids should this white stuff all melt at once.
Sitting between the mouth of the Cowlitz and the Columbia rivers makes me a bit leary of all this snow turning into water overnight.

Had that problem last year, but it doesn't affect me.But lower down the farmers and part of Tillamook usually flood. It's nice to see the sun but usually will have to pay the price later.

Hello, also neighbor. We have 6" in the back yard and they are saying more for us tonight. For those who don't know, South West Washington State usually gets a dusting of snow about once a year. Having snow on the ground for a week and a forecast of more is really unusual. We are not prepared for it like the folks on the East Coast with the infrastructure to handle it. Both the bus system and the train system are totally out of whack. People sleeping in the stations overnight. Some folks have been at the airport waiting for days to get a flight out. Today they got more de-icer from a city across the state. They could have gotten it sooner but the tankers carrying it couldn't get through the mountain passes. Next week it'll be back to 45 and really wet. Good for finding the deep silver. From Raymond. WA HH Jim
