Man, was it windy today....The NW wind factor brought the temp down to -15. But, if you want to get the goodies, you got to hunt. There was a lot of snow-loot lying around which the ACE sniffed out, but the best find was this chain, frozen in the tundra. I had to hack three lumps of tundra to get that chain out in one piece. I took those three hunks of tundra home and soaked them in some hot water to extract the chain in one piece.

Here's a pic of the snow loot and snow chain all washed up. Not a bad haul for this time of year.

Here's the silver chain with the medallion attached. Both the chain and medallion were made of silver. The obverse side of the medallion had whatever was stamped sanded off. Maybe a love affair gone bad? Who knows....

Either that or a Mafia hit with a wiped out ID. Nice finds bud. You have to have antifreeze for blood.. I wouldn't even walk out and get the paper in that kind of cold.

It probably said "Neither a borrower, nor a lender be."

Chris

At least I didn't pick the obvious one. Great necklace. Would make my day.

Nice haul John. To Thine One Self Be True is a poem by William Shakespeare. It is also a common phrase used by people in alcohol and drug addiction recovery.
