Took my daughter tobogganing after work. I did some careful coin extracting from the frozen tundra under the snow and managed several coins. Nearby was a tot lot, and I couldn't resist the temptation.

I managed a cool ring-watch which wasn't ticking any more. So.....more pennies towards next years gold coin

That's a pretty cool watch. After you were done tobogganing did you detect the area? You or your daughter might have dropped some loot:rofl:

Wow,how do you metal detect in the frozen ground? I daresay my shovel wouldn't budge anything. I'm itching to use my Garrett 250,as they sent me a new one. Thanks Newbie here.

Thanks for the quick reply. where do you buy one? And are they resonable. Also,I have a Garrett 550,not 250..lol its been too log since I took it out.
