First 2008 hunt got me some goodies. It was supposed to get up to zero, but that never happened. It was a nice day for a hunt non the less. :)

Go figure....you hunt near a skating ring where kids play hockey, and you are bound to find a hockey puck. Here is the loot, junk and jewelry found today.

"What ID's As A Coin Is Not Always A Coin....." This bracelet was found down a couple of inches in the sand. Its from Mexico....a place that I would love to be. Inside is a stamp "ALPACA" which is also called German Silver or nickel silver. It is often confused with silver, often made in Mexico, and made of mostly copper with nickel, zinc and tin .... but it has some beautiful inlay of mother pearl. My daughter fell in love with it, so, mother like daughter, she gets to keep it.

Below is sunset in Edmonton....just in time to order a nice hot pizza!
