Sniper/Scorcher comparison

Thought I'd start a new thread rather than clutter up the one below.
How would the 1500/4.5 scorcher compare to the 250/4.5 sniper.

I have the 1500 and love it and would really rather buy a coil rather than another detector and coil. I have a lot of trashy areas I'd like to hunt and the stock coil just doesn't handle it well.

Go ahead and get the Sniper for the 1500. You've got more machine with the 1500. The coils, being the same size, will deliver the goods in the trash for you.

I have used both the Garrett 4 1/2 sniper and the 5-Inch EXcelerator Coil on the 1500 and 2500 with good results. With both coils, you can really crank up the sensitivity and get some decent depth, while at the same time get real close to chain link fences and play equipment. A detector with more coils will get you more finds!

I wasn't aware that I could use the Sniper 4 1/2 with my GTI 2500.
I got the Sniper for my ACE 250.
In the Garrett catalog it shows the 4 1/2 scorcher for the GTI 2500.
The listings for the catalog, and web site are the same.
If the Sniper will work on the GTI 2500, great, since that is one less coil I have to buy.
Thanks
