sniper coil on GTP 1350

I wanted to check to see which coil would do better on the GTP 1350 I was looking at the 4.5 crossfire 2 or the 8.5 crossfire 2 ?
I have in the past used smaller coils and done really good. But some small coils have NO depth at all. Does the 4.5 coil have any depth to it at all or would I be better with the 8.5?

I would go with the 4.5 inch Garrett Sniper coil. The stock 7x10 " coil is a very deep, stable coil. There would be no advantage of going to the 8.5 " Crossfire II coil, as it would get about the same depth. The little sniper coil does great in heavily trashy areas like bus stops for instance, and yes, there is some loss of depth, but then there is an increase in sensitivity, and you can usually run the sensitivity higher on a small coil before the detector becomes too unstable. A friend of mine uses his sniper coil quite often, and it still allows him to pull silver out of the ground. Depth isn't always a requirement for good targets, as some items 100 yrs old are still in the top 5 inches of the ground.

Skip the 8.5 as there will be no gain. THe 4.5 is a great little coil, very sensitive with respectable depth,, and works great around playground equipment and in trashy areas.

is the sniper coil what fits the ace 250? i have the sniper coil and like it on the ace, but will it work on my 1350? that would be sweet.
