Sniffed out a couple of silvers from the trash this morning

Hit the same park we've been pounding for the last month or so. Finds are getting hard to come by lately. Met up with Park Pirate in a different area of the park and first find was a 1963 Roosie hiding under a pulltab at about 6" deep. Then dug a nice gold gilt flat button. After digging about 20 beaver tails, one finally turned out to be the 1887 V-nickel. Finished the morning with a shallow 1938 mercury dime at about 4". Was hoping for a couple of indian head cents to reach the 50 mark for the year but they were hiding today. Hopefully get a couple tomorrow.

Nice finds Ed. I ended up down at Acd park this morning. I figured W,P would have been too busy with Lark fest going on. Not to mention I'm a little sick of that park, I need a couple week break before I go back.
