Not much to show here but thought I would post a few things anyway. Was going to detect a spot where a country school once stood but when I got there , the grass was to high to swing the detector. So, the only other place close by was the spot where I found the V nickels that I posted earlier. Didn't figure on finding much but didn't have any other options. Only found 1 wheatie, a two cent Ks. tax token, alot of shotgun shells, and a couple of neat little eagle pins. Wasn't sure what the eagles were, so I researched them on the internet. Seems they are advertising pins from J I Case farm implements probably made in the early 1900's. The larger one was a stick pin and the smaller one a lapel pin. That's what is fun about this hobby, getting to research and learn new things. Oh yeah, I posted pics of all the stuff I found, guess some of you like to see the trash people dig.

Those Eagle pins are fantastic finds. I would call that a highly successful hunt.

Those are some great Case advertising pieces, a friend of mine found a Case watchfob that looks just like those except bigger.

that a great spot , I would be freeking out on that site

Great hunt , thanks for sharing . Those Case Eagles are neat .You've got to hunt where you can while you can . I'm waiting for vegetation removal on a few of my spots also .
