I had a nice afternoon in the soccer field. It was warm enough to wear shorts, but not hot enough to sweat. For some reason I had the park to myself. It was strangely empty. I hit the out fields in case someone through a ring instead of the ball. I found 2 children's rings in the soccer field, none in the out field. I wanted to check a play ground on the way home. It is small and in a housing development. It is all wood chips. Only a nickle and 2 pennies, till I came to the toddler swing. That is when I found the school ring. That smashed up thing in front of the rings is a Jefferson nickle. I guess I have to be more careful when I am digging.

That's a good mix of targets John. Glad to see other people digging up rubbish. It is aways a buzz to find a ring.
Mick Evans.

I was going to guess you did a sports field, judging from all those broken wire supports for a chain link fence. Any day you get 3 rings is a good day. :) Also I see a modern US hammered coin

Isn't Deland Middle School just years 6-8? Never heard of a middle school Class ring. I reckon Bling doesn't care how old you are!

Mick, If rubbish is the "buzz" to rings, I'm fairly electrified!
There are other factors...
