Just wondering what all the the new "smart coil' system does.. At the Minelabbing event the Greg from the Australian office explained that the coil & the control box communicate back n forth, kinda like the X-terra, keeping the unit perfectly balanced at all times & that the coil has a signal amplifier within.. I just saw another post asking about how accurate the depth indicator is and the answer was "very accurate" .. Just wondering if the the 3030 auto detects which coil it has on & auto adjusts itself to keep the depth indicator as accurate as possible with the big range in coil sizes that is offered with 3030????
