Smallest and Tallest bottle ever found!

Hi Angela, those are too cool ! I'm not really a bottle hunter but heck if you run across them while detecting and they look old or unusual grab em. I like the small bottles myself. Yesterday I was detecting a burn pile with the Explorer II and found an older Bayer aspirin bottle it is very small and I know it is pretty old. Out of all the metal junk I was able to detect a clad Quarter, COOL ! See you later Angela.

Hi Angela, I will see if I can post a pic of it here. Hopefully I can do a decent job. CU a little bit later. God Bless Angela.

Hi Angela, I hope this turns out ok. This is my first time posting a pic on this forum. The bottle is glass of course and is 2 1/2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches wide.

I'm sorry Angela it is too big a pic. I'm not a computer type so not sure if I can try something else.

Hi John, if you're running a program called 'paint' in your system, then I'll be able to help you condense your photos ready to post for the future. Usually 'paint' is on your desktop, or can be brought up through 'all programs'. See if you have it and we'll take it from there. It's really quite easy to do. Let me know if you have it, as it's what I use for my photos.
HH Angela:)

Hey Angela, yes I do have paint, I feel rather dumb, here I am a CET and don't know much about computers haha ! Ok back to you.:help:

Hello John, is that CET as in Computer Electronics Tech?! Here goes, step by step: Click on PAINT, and once opened click FILE at top left of screen, then click OPEN. From there go into the folder you know has your photo in it. (If you forget, just look it up first, write the folder down then take these steps again.) Click onto the photo you want to condense and it will open up automatically into the PAINT screen, but you won't see the whole photo, just an enlarged part of it. Now, click at the top of the screen STRETCH AND SKEW, and a small box will come up. Change the HORIZONTAL from 100% to 25%, then tab onto VERTICLE and change it also to 25%, then click okay. Now your photo has been condensed to a good size for posting, but now you need to save it, so you don't lose it. Click FILE at the top again, then click onto SAVE AS. Give your photo a name in the highlighted column, then click SAVE in this box. Your photo is ready. You can then repeat the same process all over again without having to exit anything. It's a good way to view your photos too. Hope Its helped!
HH Angela:)

[attachment 24308 2006_0412Image0002.JPG]Ok Angela lets see if this will work, by the way CET stands for Certified Electronics Technician, I am a hardware kinda guy, you know soldering iron. I mean computers are great but I can't grab hold of cyberspace and solder on it haha !

[attachment 24309 2005_0930Image0001.JPG]Hi Angela, this is the kind of hardware I work with and is just a small example.

Hello John, glad to see it worked for you! Yep, I am familiar with your line of work. I use to do a bit of circuitry and soldering for a radio manufacturer many years ago, when I was fresh out of school. I've taught myself to use computers, with some help from my husband. I didn't have much of a choice really at the time, as I worked for a mining company and mining contractors, and soon had to learn spread sheets, keep books, write the inductions, etc. But now, I use my computer mostly for research, writing, emails, and in conjunction with my digital camera, which is why I use Paint. By the way, I like your bottle, almost looks like an old bex bottle. I use an old one to keep some gold I panned over the years.
