Smaller coils and depth?

Thinking about purchasing a smaller coil for my E-trac. Specifically either the Sunray Stealth X5 or the Excelerator 6".
My question is how will these smaller coils affect the depth reading on the E-trac? Will the depth reading be the same or show deeper on the scale?
I might as well ask which smaller coil you prefer. I am open to other coil suggestions.

I've had the 5" coil, the SE6x10, and now have the EQ2 6" coil, all I can say is someone would have to pry the EQ2 coil from my cold dead hands to get it away from me. With the 6" coil I can get a dime at 7" in my test garden with auto running at 17, and it's got super seperation in trash areas. As far as depth goes on the meter, it's close with all three coils on coins. Hope this helps. Ken-ks

I agree!! "P there is no way on earth I would let my 6" coil go.
I love it!!!
It will pay for itself.
Good Luck with it and please show us some nice finds.
