Small versus big

Just a little comment on the subject of small coils versus big ones.

-My wife and i have used Fishers since 1993,and small coils since 1994
and modestly saying with some kind of success.
-Personally i find the combination of my old CZ6 with the 5"coil to be a real killer in thrash and iron.
Another aspect of such a set-up,is the possibility for the user to
hunt for hour upon hour without fatigue.
-Another important thing to mention is the smaller coil`s ability to
sniffle out the goodies in between stones, treeroots, bushstems and
other funny obstacles.

P.S
-For our first years of hunting we were lucky to have an experianced and patient mentor and friend to guide us into the world of
treasure hunting.
-Year after year he used his trusty 1266 with remarkable success.
For the reallly tight spots he chose the mini puck-the3",and for the
rest of the work he switched to his other favourite coil the 5"
Enjoy the winter and good hunting
to you all.........
