This park is a couple hours away and looking forward to a new place to search.Very critical not to disturb the ground too much in this very old park so the 800 coil will be mounted. What I can tell you is in this park its suppose to be haunted by a lady dressed in white,I'll just keep my headphones on and ignore the distraction if she shows up. HH Ron

Wish I was going. Good luck on the hunt, Ron. Don't forget to bring along a camera and digital recorder to capture the action.

Good Luck. Let us know if that Ghost gives you a hard time. I am in the middle of the Mothman Festival in case you remember that fiasco.

See if you can get her to show you where the Old Stuff is.

Sovereign will serve you well. Cheery picking with a meter will be up for the task. I remember the Mothman! I've just recently read a book and man I'd love to be at that festival.

I was at a beach at 2am working the low tide. Every few minutes I would whip off my headphones because I thought I heard a whispering woman's voice. I really didn't think of a ghost and chalked it up to someone in a beach cottage. It was real foggy and my headlamp was like a lightsaber in the fog. Later that evening on another forum I was discussing the odd whispering. My inbox started getting links from users telling me about how a ship in my location I was detecting sunk and the only survivor was a dog. The captain and his daughter drowned and for years many would hear the whispering. A metal detector is a powerful electro magnetic device and those ghost shows always use electro magnetic devices to search for ghosts. I wonder if the constant hum of the threshold and the emf waves of the sovereign enhanced the ability to hear the whispering?

I wouldn't be surprised. The Sovereign can do some amazing things. I too have heard voices within the threshold of my machine.

Two out of the three voices in my head tell me theres no such thing as ghosts.
