Small spot of land

n/t

It's only about 100'- 200' area,I started doing it with the xlt then the f-75 and now going for the real deep stuff with the explorer II.Finding a lot of deep muskeet balls which are most likely from the King Philip war,and are about elbow deep.I'm going real slow hoping to get a pine tree shilling down deep with the balls.I'll post some of the finds I got as the targets got deeper.

... all the finds are nice and thanks for sharing them.
But what enquiring minds want to know is what led you to THAT spot, say, instead of that one over there? What did you learn or luck on that helped you pick that one?
Your answer might help all of us in our own locales.

It's right down town and King Philip burnt the town down twice in the 1660's,The land was owned by a doctor and would not let anyone back there. Will he died and the land sold to a nice guy.The historical society went over and got the OK for me to hunt the site. All the stuff well go to them [unless I got something awsome, then I'll keep it and they'll get it some day.

Thank you for that. I'm assuming you are a member of the historical society?
