i put the dime in the picture for scale.
the ID was 36, i thought for sure i was digging another pre 82 penny.
10.5 DD 7.5khz

Nice find. I have just had my machine for a few weeks and digging a lot of clad in trashy parks. Yesterday the old park we hunted in had so much trash I put the 6 inch HF DD coil on. What a great little coil.

Great little find Mike!
What's the stone in it? (can't tell from the pic)

it's actually not a stone, just a chunk of silver. it's hard to tell if there is a pattern on it or just the tarnish.
it weighs 4.22 grams, for comparison the silver dime weighed 2.44 grams.

Okay. It looked like a sawtooth type setting gripping a stone in the pic.

Congratulations on the silver. Nice looking earring.
