Small jewelry chain

Listener

Well-known member
Took the Manticore out to the park yesterday with General low conductor setting and everything pretty much factory settings except for high tones. Found the usual clad qtrs, dimes, pull tabs, A nice Husky Sport folding knife just lying on the ground. What is interesting as I headed back to the truck, in the curb strip I got a strong tid of 12. Circled it and it hit solid all around in this high trash area. Dept was 3 bars. Pulled out the ales he higher and cut a U and hinged it back. Pinpointer said it was still there so I used a screwdriver to loosen up the dirt. Scooped out the dirt and spotted a little chain. It didn’t look like gold and had some blackish residue. It weighted 4.21 grams. I was sure surprised how strong it hit on it after 2 other small chains I have found with the Deus and they were on top of bark and never sounded off.

I recently had a request to search for a silver bracelet at the beach. Found it in one swing. Turns out it was silver plated copper. Pure gold rarely tarnishes. Its inert to most chemical reactions.
I suspect its plated copper or brass. I have recently heard that Manticore is one deep machine. Congrats on your finds.

I believe it is steel with a black anodize coating. I see I said General Low Condiuctor it was All Terrain Low Conductor setting , the other blooper was lesche diggerwhere it says ales he higher. Sorry I didn’t see and edit that. Your right it sees everything and you can dig yourself to death if you don’t discriminate between your ears.

Good job!
