These were my finds yesterday. The usual roundballs, crumpled brass, glass piece from an early whisky bottle, toe plate, small buckles, a piece of worked flint, an iron (what looks like) a spear point, a large flower button with backmark SCOVILL WATERBURY, a four hole underwear button, and a silver plated Infantry button!

Closeup of front...the shield gives me an impression that this might be an earlier pre civil war version infantry button. Aluminum jelly did wonders on cleaning this button!
