Small, easy to make folding root cutter

jabbo

New member
Folded length is just 4", light weight, fits in pouch. Root cutter blades are hard to keep sharp, so just change the blade when it gets dull. The blades I have at my work bench are 3.5" end to end so that is what I used. I haven't tried it yet but it looks like it will work for roots up to maybe 1" diameter. Jabbo

I understand the root problem,I bought a small hatchet that has a belt clip/sharpener from lowes.
it has a light graphite handle with a rubber grip.....makes short work of them.
