Small Coil ?

I have an 8"FBS and a 6" Excellerator... I really don't care for either one because in order the get the shaft the correct length for me the cable is sticking way out the bottom of the shaft, looped all the way down to the top of the coil. The cable on the PRO coil is shorter... I hope the coil on the SEF 6x8 is shorter, like the pro....

I'll have to get one when the wife gets over my buying a V-3 so soon after buying an E-TRAC.... I still love the ET. I haven't gotten to use the V-3 yet but I expect great things from it too!

Anyway, evn though I don't yet have one... I agree, from all the rave reviews... wait and get the SEF...

I ordered the 6x8 SEF because everyone says that they kick butt.. Well they were back ordered and I cancled my order. But Sunray X! probe from detectordepot instead.
I read now that Kellyco is going to actually have the 6x8's in stock in a day or two.. finally!

I use a 6" DD eq2 and I love it, works great.

I have owned and used about every small coil availible for the E-Trac and the two I always take with me on every hunt is the Sunray 5" and the 8x6 sef.

Think I would go with the sunray 5"...come on now everybody knows the pro coil can separate as good as the 8X6 !!!! The pro coil with a little wiggle can hear way to much and get in tight and close!
