Small Coil for 6000 DI Pro SL

I am looking for coil smaller than the standard 950 that comes on these machines. Which smaller coil would you recommend for hunting trashy sites?

Thanks,

I would recommend the White's Bullseye/Blackmax 5.3 concentric coil. The DD coils (like the 4x6) some say may be better in more mineralized soil, but I have no direct experience with them. I do however have quite a lot of experience with the 5.3 and think it works great in my medium-mineralized soil here in Texas for coinshooting and general use.

On my XL Pro, I use the 5.3 Black max the most, but still use the 950 coil occasionally for large open areas with little trash, like farm fields or large parks. But the smaller coil is a must for most hunting.

That 6000 Di Pro SL is one of the finest detectors ever made!

I also have, and use, the Black Max 5.8, but I also have, and use the Blue Max 350. If you are hunting really trashy sites, that's the way to go.
The 4x6 elliptical Blue Max does not enjoy the same reputation as its 15 kHz sibling, the 4x6 Eclipse. Its performance is lackluster, at best. Go with the Blue Max 350, Black Max 5.8, or Royal 800...
