Sluice Box Questions

I am attempting to get some insight on the art of Gold Prospecting. I was wanting to purchase a sluice box and was curious of
anyones opinions as to which is better. And why? Thanks for your time.

There are a number of good sluice boxes available. In my opinion a box with a wide flare and a run that is at least 10 inches wide and 45 inches long works best.
The wider the better (I have one that's 14"--unknown manufacturer). If your packing in a long way there are folding models available but they're usually narrower. You can shovel a lot of material into a wide sluice without overloading it. Black Cat Mining (on the web) caries a wide variety of sluice boxes. You can't go wrong with a Keene or Proline but there are alot of manufactures out there.

check out the keenes new G1 sluice. Probably expensive cause it's new but it looks like the easiest and complete package. catches the ultra fine stuff too.

Can't wait till they have em in Australia. I haven't seen the price but I want one.

Dicko..
