going down the lonly rows of crops i started finding big slugs all in a small earea, and then just a short distance i got a hyper signal i figured for a nails i fliped the dirt up and a silver canadian quarter comes up . Pot luck you were right again thear is more I have found mor in this feild than i have found in 4 years just amazing , i think someone was target practicing and reached into the pocket to get a slug and the quarter fell out WOW this is getting to be a good spot - wat an amaze

With the amount of shooting going on in this field, you might just find the gun they were using lol Great finds! Keep hitting that field as there is more to come. Thanks for posting and sharing the farm field finds.

Great find. I've hardly hunted crop fields but always enjoed it when I did. I've got a field at an old farm that they also use to hold woodstock like tent parties at back in the 60's. A friend owns the land. Keep meaning to hunt it but never have.

Critter , holy buckets of silver you have not hunted it """ comon man get out thear think of who may have been thear 1st the native americans, then the loggers, then the setlers then the wood stock situation, take a day when its not hot or raining get a hat on and sunglasses and gloves you dont want to be sun burnt , and start griding it off st got to be somthing good out thear that like having a 50.000 dollar check and not cashing it comone cash it bro

congrats on another of which im sure there will be many more of......i might suggest if you are hunting a farm field take along a 3ft pointed shovel....when you get a target it will be easier to dig a wider hole thus not putting dents on the coin.....your skill levelis improving and its just a matter of time till you find something more valuable....trust me my first spanish silver which is in very good shape except for the gash in carroluses head reminds me of this lesson every time i look at it.....i also find taking the shovel to dug is easier on my back in the long run... less bending over ..also easier on my wrists as well....its good to see you progregressing the gt......reminds me of when i first got mine.....

I know what your saying , every time i look at the barber i see the gash in it kinda bums me out
