slugging it out in the heat

GunnarMN

New member
its been hot and humid, and now the horse flys are out , but i dicided to hunt a bare spot in the field and see what would come out I was lazy because of the heat so i was operating in disq after about 10 minuts found some slugs one of witch looks like it hit its mark , i bet i have taken out at least a quart jar of slugs and thats good for the enviorment and now the turtles are laying thear eggs as you can see

Very cool. Hey, just wanted to say that I'm glad you and several other new guys are in this forum now. It's been a pleasure to watch you guys hunt, test things, and so on. Given new life to the forum.

Remember my theory...Sovereign owners are laid back and not flashy. They don't brag much and keep to themselves. Flashy people tend to go for the flashy machines. What that means is that a lot of Sovereign owners don't post much or show off their finds. They just aren't that type. They know what works and don't need to show it off to others. Since I'm the opposite of all that I tend to stick out in this forum like a sore thumb. I'm not flashy but I do want the world to know just how good this machine is.

Cool bullets. If bullets are being found, people had to be standing in the area to shoot them. I wonder what those old nails held together....

Question for you Gunnar, who was moving faster in the heat? Turtle or the Gunnar? lol. Cool picture of the turtle! It has been pretty warm here too but we usually have a slight breeze so its bearable for a few hours detecting and then I am done. Thanks for sharing.
