Let me preface this post with my last four hunts have been nothing but clad and disappointment. An awesome looking 1820's brick house, yard was filled and leveled, heartbreaking, only clad, crap and a dozen hotwheels.
That brings me today, got out of town to an early 1800's home, 1st signal wheat, 2nd signal 43' merc, off to a better start. After another wheat and clad got a wheat signal with a high tone, popped the plug, pinpointed the wheat, rescanned the plug and got a quarter hit. Had a feeling it would be silver and it was an SLQ, smooth date, no stars below the eagle, either a 1916 very rare and $$$ or a 1917.

In the front yard, right next to a rotting stump I pulled the 1881 Canadian Quarter and the 1814 Wellington Half Penny Token, Canadian, that makes 4 penny/half penny tokens for me in a month.

It was good to have another productive hunt, you just have to keep on swinging and good things will happen.
