Slipped out this evening and hit a soccer field and rounded this dibby dab up..

Found a two quarter, two penny spill that drove me nuts. Couldn't find the coins with my probe, got conflicting signals, and wound up digging a hole ( which I hate to do.) All the quarters were deep and the grass was thick and about five inches high with thick roots. Pulling up all the coins was a pain. Got a Rosco ring also.

Very nice finds. You need to teach me how to pop the coins out of the ground without digging a hole.

Great hunting. I hunt a lot of campsite fields and experience the same problems quite often. The holes can usually be repaired if you keep the top plug of grass and put all the dirt on a piece of plastic so to get it all back in the hole. This is how I do all objects over 4 inches deep.
