Skunked???

I was skunked if you are counting coins. I didn't find one cent. Like Larry said in his post, we had hunted some properties that we've hunted in the past and I still came home with a smile and a couple of treasures in my pouch today. First time I was "coin skunked" since the first year I started detecting. And yes, I still remember where that was.....at Eureka Lake.

Oh what beautiful weather to be out detecting. I hope you all were able to get outside and enjoy the awesome weather! :wiggle:

Here's what I came home with. The little thimble rang up silver but I don't think it is. Sure is mangled being in the dirt for so long. Then my second item is a Captain Midnight Flight Patrol from Skelly Gas/Oil. I was pretty happy when I dug this one. I'll take this over any clad cents any day! Possibly over a silver dime!

Love the Captain Midnight pin. You're right, it was a great day to be out.

We went gold panning. Found a few flakes too.

Oh that's so cool. Sounds like we all had a good day being outside.
