Skunked!

Well, for jewelry anyway. Did get a decent amount of clad, so not empty handed. I hit the low tide for about 3 hours. The two most interesting things were that the skull absolutely sounded like gold when I was digging it...I was already trying to figure out how many grams of 14K it would be...just had that PERFECT low-to-mid gold tone that the Minelabs do so nice. Except it's not gold. :cry: The other thing was that I was working the shallow water in front of my favorite hotel and hit a quarter line that I thought was never going to end and there were a number of 20 to 30 year old quarters in it. Never did find the "gold ring line". Maybe tonight...
