The weather report said possibility of a few showers. Hit the beach at about 9:30am figuring to walk down the tide. At about 11:30 I was chased off the beach a half mile away from home by heavy rain. Idiot that I am, I didn't bring the FW gear (showers right!). On the way off the beach I saw the corner of the $5.00 bill peeking out of the sand. Like the surf god was saying "sorry I kicked you off the beach but here's a consolation prize". There's always tomorrow.
