Size"B" only accurate to 8 inches

I've never seen size B at 10 inches on the gti2500.Thats because the people at Garrett said its only accurate to 8 inches. What if you get a quarter at 9 inches?

the sizing feature isn't an exact science anyway. I have dug "C" sized targets at 6" that have been quarters or nickels.

Dig anything that acts good, which is more than 4".

Lucille Bowen used to say 3," and she knew what she was about.

Oh, one more thing. Resist the urge to define detecting with absolutes. There is no such thing as a precise 8" in this endeavor.

They said it's only accurate to that depth. They didn't say it wouldn't ID deeper. I've ID'ed quarters at 10-12 inches and they were quarters when I dug them up. Depends on the ground, conditions, junk nearby, etc. No detector made will do anything 100% accurate.

Yeah if you depend on your detector to do all your thinking for you then you are going to be very disappointed.
