Six Silver Sunday

Mason Jarr

New member
All dimes, but no complaints from me. I went out for a few hours this morning and then it got HOT, but I managed a Merc and Rosie. I decided to take a break and went to get some groceries (a guy's gotta eat) and then waited until it cooled off a little towards the late afternoon. I went back out to the same location and picked up four more Rosies....the last with the aid of the ProPointer light. I also found 23 Wheats; the oldest being a plain 27 and a 10K Gold Filled ring. I got another Rosie yesterday which gave me 7 for the weekend. I feel fortunate. Here's some pics. The group shot is out of focus and I'm too tired to take another one. My apologies.

Thanks for looking and I hope you were successful if you got out today.

That's a nice pile of Silver! Great hunts!

Thanks. I've got about 2 more weeks to hunt this spot and then it'll be fenced off and is scheduled for demolition. Of course after it's demoed, it might bring some more targets to the surface!! I've taken 23 silver coins from this area and a buddy has gotten 25. I'll hate to see it go, but it'll make me get serious about finding new spots.

Congrats!!! I had a 6 silver Sunday too!!

I only got 5  Great hunt Mason Jarr , some more hunts like that and you will fill that mason jar lol . sube

Yeah, but all yours were probably Barbers! Got two more tonight a 39D Merc and a 61D Rosie. The Merc was laying right on top of the ground. Got the signal and started pinpointing and saw it laying there. That's the second Merc I've found like that this year. The first one I understand because it was in a plowed field. This one was in a yard with grass. Odd that it was on the surface.
